Volunteering
We love to give back! Our team take our community responsibility seriously and corporate volunteering is one way that we can help others, learn new skills and meet new people, all while challenging ourselves. Some of our team adventures include:
- Perth City Farm – we learned about the compost lifecycle, worked up a sweat turning over the compost, and helped out with weeding. We usually work in an office, so this was a great day out learning about the environment and how we can all make a difference
- Good Sammy – the team helped sort donations including clothes, shoes, books and crockery. It was eye-opening to learn about the sheer volumes of donations, and very rewarding to understand the work Good Sammy does to employ people with disability.
Sponsorship
We have proudly sponsored the Future Female Leaders Program for several years. The program helps support and educate young women in starting off their careers and gaining confidence in leadership roles. Being a male-dominated industry, we are proud to have more than 60% female employment in our company, and are keen to see more females supported to join the industry. The Program empowers young females to be the next change makers, and we’re all for it!
We also provide support to the St Sava Serbian Orthodox Church through sponsorship and committee work.
